I hope you are
doing well and that you are searching and finding all the goodness that
exists around you. As a loyal subscriber to the TF Times, I want to
thank you for reading our monthly newsletter. It is intended to
educate, motivate, and inspire your well-being regardless of where you
live and we always enjoy connecting with you every month. I take great pride in serving you and am appreciative for the
positive and vibrant energy that you share on an on-going basis. I
encourage you to share with me your success stories and questions so
that we can continue to deliver fitness programs,
news and information that is valuable to you.

Next Session Begins March 1st
Classes hosted in Chesterfield/Clinton Twp., our next 6
week session begins March 1st. Pre-registration has begun and has
always been recommended in order to reserve your spot in
programs. We have decreased the max. number of participants
allowed in some of the popular programs so that everyone is able to
benefit and enjoy them. As always, please bring in your fitness
shoes instead of wearing them to campus. The snow/ice/salt not
only is damaging to the floors, but creates a huge mess and is
dangerous when working out. Also, please hang all coats and other
misc. outerwear in the locker rooms. There have been some quick

Spring Program Updates
Spring session begins week of April 19th.
Team Fit is introducing
numerous new programs this coming Spring that I am very proud of.
Detailed descriptions are in the Spring brochures that will be
available on our web site beginning March 20th or you can also obtain a
paper copy the first week in April in class. I hope you get a
chance to check out something new for the new season ahead!

Now that you've worked on your lower body
rhythm, its time to perfect the upper body! Join Jennifer Paczas
as she intruduces you to ZUMBAŽ TONING. This program is an
innovative muscle training program with the addition of light weight
toning sticks. We use 1 1/2 lb, sand filled toning sticks, which are
very similar to maracas. In a relatively short period of time, this
challenging workout helps in building coordination and muscle
endurance. Zumba toning sticks sold on-line for $18.00 and will
be available for purchase on the first day of the class.
Space is limited to 18 participants.

This wonderful program is very
easy to follow so anyone at any age will be able to do Zumba Gold. It
was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or
people who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited
physically. The main difference between Zumba Gold and Zumba Basic is
Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but it certainly
is as fun. The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used.

Yoga For Fully
Figured Females
Have you always wanted to
try yoga but didn't feel comfortable walking into just any class? Jean
Charette is a fully figured yoga student and teacher. She encourages
her students to enjoy the freedom and peace within their own bodies
with her joyful spirit and playful attitude. As a career massage
therapist, yoga teacher and a student of the healing arts, she will
gently guide you through all the facets of yoga. Her classes offer
Pranayama, Asana and Meditations with special modifications for the
plus-sized body. Hatha
yoga will help you gain strength, flexibility and balance and
allow you to experience true
inner peace and well being. Shanti (deep peace).

Do you accept
responsibility for your choices in life?
Do
you feel in control of your life? No matter how negative events or
actions may become, you are the only force that is able to determine
the reaction. Often we fail to do this and instead blame the world for
our feelings of sadness, rejection, and hopelessness. The reality is
that your actions are a choice, and you must claim those feelings and
choices. We can be our best cheerleader or worst enemy when it comes to
determining the health of our emotions. Do some pep talks with yourself
each morning. This will help you develop positive, self-affirming
thoughts that will enhance your personal development and growth.

SUPER SAT. MORNING @ 9am will
be hosted at ConCorde Health Club only. This class
will transfer to Xtreme Fitness beginning April

Do Team Fit's Classes Break for Spring Break?
Please remember the following
program policy for Spring break and other holiday/in-service
days......
When a program is hosted on school
grounds and the district is not open, all classes will therefore be
canceled and made up at the end of the session. If you are
unsure, you can always check with the district's web site or
call their Adult Education Department directly. For
circumstances such as snow days, it is at the district's
discretion if a make up class will be scheduled. This policy is
listed in the brochure in which advertised Team Fit's programs.
When classes hosted on a Team Fit's
campus, they will proceed as scheduled during breaks, in-service
days, etc. If a snow day is issued, all morning classes will be
canceled and made up at the end of the session. All evening
classes will proceed as scheduled. If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

You've heard about
it, but still haven't seen this amazing program? On Saturday,
April 3rd at 9:00 am, Jennifer Paczas will be hosting a Zumba
Toning Workshop at the Mall at Partridge Creek. Team Fit and lucy
will be passing out refreshments, gift bags and raffling off
gift certificates/coupons. Reservations are required for
this exciting event. Toning sticks will be available for purchase
